Humble Monthly Nov 2019

I love my Humble Monthly subscription. I started it a year ago as a Christmas gift from my husband, so this is my 12th month. My first was December of 2018. I must say that I have absolutely loved getting this subscription! It is like a flash sale of excellence every month to add to my ever-growing collection; I clearly do not need it, but I want!

If you buy the monthly bundle early enough, you get a few games as an early unlock for the next month. For November, I already had a couple when I claimed with my October Bundle. The first was Call of Duty WWII. This included both the endowment bravery pack and the endowment fear not pack. It is currently collecting dust as I am not much of a first-person shooter (FPS) player. I will eventually get to it as part of this blog, as I am committed to playing everything, but it will be awhile. I also got the Crash Brandicoot N. Sane Trilogy that I did a blog on already. There was also Spyro Reignited Trilogy that is pending as well. I am excited for Spyro because I do remember playing that many years ago on my console.

Since today is the Friday of the month, it time to see what the Humble fairy has provided as the rest of my pack.

First up is Shenmue I & II, and I have never heard of it. It looks like it is another remastered game from back in the old days of Sega. But even as I write the word Sega, I hear the old loading screen. I cannot be the only one. It is iconic!

Next is SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising. I have heard some pretty good things about this from a friend that enjoys FPS games. But again, not really my general go-to type game, so it may be a while before I get to this one.

What do we have here? It seems the next one on the list is Evergarden. This seems a puzzle type game, which after a long workday, it may be a good thing to kill time in small batches when I don’t have three straight hours. I will be installing this one now.

Last, but definitely not least is 11-11 Memories Retold. I hit the videos in Steam for this after claiming my key and got chills. The paintbrush style art immediately draws me in, but what the story could turn out to be is too exciting to not try. I think I have a new thing at the top of my list to try next!

Now, if you are interested, before December 6th, you can join the Humble Monthly and get Soulcalibur VI, Yakuza Kiwami, and My Time at Portia. I got mine, I already told my husband that is what he can get me again Christmas this year, another years’ worth of Humble Monthly. If you do not want the monthly bundle, you can still get 20% off a Humble Store purchase using my discount link.

Now I am off to go play some games!
